CHEEK REDUCTION

This is a cosmetic procedure with the goal of reducing the exaggerated rounded shape that sometimes a face presents. Such rounded shape is due to an augmented volume of the fat area in front of the muscles associated with chewing.

By removing these fatty compartments we make that the face angles get noticed. As a result we obtain a differentiation between the outline cheekbone – cheek and that of cheek-jaw. In most of the cases, the procedure is ambulatory (with local anesthesia). And best of all, it does not leave scars because the incision (of just 3mm) is done through the mouth.

Some swollenness may be present for a few days after the surgery. However such condition does not prevent our client from working after the second day. Like in any other surgery of similar nature, the expected results are attained at the end of the third week.
